Getting ready for June 30th has kept me quite busy. According to our Macy's registry, there are 59 days left until we say "I do" and there is no slowing down in the mean time.
On March 7th we welcomed my fourth niece, Margaret Harper Cullens, into the world. (Picture with Dan to follow later...he was not ready to hold a new born the day we visited the hospital)
A few short days later we welcomed our own new addition into what I now refer to as the Cullens-Towler Zoo.
Miss Abbey Leigh Towler made the 3 hour ride home from Boaz, AL when she was 8 weeks old and she has been on the go ever since. She made fast friends with Mickey and immediately put her herding skills to work. She has expanded our hearts, tried our patience, exhausted every bone in our body, and truly enhanced our lives in the 2 months since we brought her home. We continue to watch her grow (anxiously awaiting the day those razor sharp puppy teeth fall out) and learn more ways to make us smile.
She made her first beach trip to my favorite place in the world, The Captain's House, and had an absolute ball. We decided beach trips will never quite be the same but we loved seeing her in the sand and surf!
I had my first wedding shower that was full of family, friends, and a slew of thoughtful gifts!
And last but not least, we hosted the Special Olympics Soccer event at school where a special guest dropped by for pictures and autographs.
